NPS Tutorial Program

Navajo Preparatory currently employs five tutors for a variety of areas: Math, Science, Navajo Language, Spanish Language, Writing/Study Hall Monitor.  The tutors are located centrally on campus in the Student Success Center located in Morgan Hall. Parents, these tips may assist you in helping your student who may need to take advantage of our tutors.
Tutors May Help With:
   — Time management and study strategies.
   — Review and clarification of concepts and ideas.
   — Test preparation.
   — Problems assigned for small groups and/or individuals.
   — Keeping the student from falling behind.

If your teen is currently having difficulty in any class, perhaps there might be a way that we can work together to assist these students with receiving additional assistance by recommending or requiring them to visit with the tutor. As we are working into the last half of the semester, this may be an intervention strategy that can assist you in working with your teen. Please reference the NPS tutor list with times and location of our tutors to encourage your son or daughter to visit with them.
